MD Park Police are closing down roads in the search for a missing District Heights woman…

Right now Maryland Park Police are closing down roads along Route 197 and Powdermill Road as they continue the search for missing 46 year old Lisa Wyche. The District Height’s woman was last seen on southbound BWI Parkway Halloween night after running out of gas. Wyche walked to a 7’11 because her cell phone died. A Park Police Officer spoke to her once she returned to the car. Now based on his discussion he left the scene. Wyche is a dialysis patient who has missed two appointments.

A Silver Spring man continues to recover after being shot when he answered his front door…

There’s been no arrest in the shooting of a Silver Spring man who opened his front door to two men who had just knocked on it. The shooting happened last night at a home on Clement Road. The victims toddler son who was at home at the time was not harmed.

Metro Officials choose another person to lead the agency and he wants the job…

It appears that the search for a GM for Metro is over. The man selected, Paul Wiedefeld has accepted the offer. Wiedefeld will be official named to the position next month.
