3 separate shootings, 3 deaths and 1 arrest in DC overnight…

DC Police are offering $1,000 for anyone who reports an illegal gun. The announcement follows three fatal shootings in 24 hours in the District, including a mother who was shot & killed on Congress Street in S.E.. A 17 year old has been arrested in connection to the at triple shooting. The Districts new homicide rate is now at 97.

A commission on honoring Marion Barry are planning to hold a public meeting tonight at 7 to take comments from residents on how the city should honor his life and legacy. Tonight’s gathering will be held at the Executive Office of the Mayor in N.W..

93 year old Tuskegee Airmen robbed twice within minutes in North St. Louis…

A 93year old former Tuskegee Airman was robbed
in North St. Louis, not once but twice on Sunday while trying to
drive to his see his daughter. The former World War II Airmen got lost driving to
her home and pulled over, that’s when a man jumped into his car and robbed him of his cash. He then drove off and stopped to get help from two other men who then stole his car. The airman who was not identified was not harmed.
