FSU shooter killed, three others injuries

Police in Tallahassee, Florida have not released the name of the loan gunman who opened fire on students at Florida State University just after midnight last night inside a campus library. The gunman was killed by police. Three people were injured, one critically.

The Ferguson grand jury could announce a decision on Friday

CNN is now reporting that a grand jury looking into the Michael Brown murder case could make a decision during their meeting on Friday. Some are calling it the final session before the holiday. Ferguson officials say if its during the week –schools will be notified before the public so children will be able to leave and make it home safely. St. Louis activist are preparing to gather. There is a growing concern that violence could erupt if the grand jury chooses not to hold the police officer in the case accountable.

Financial help is on the way for residents in Prince George’s County who want to own a home

At 10:45 this morning Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker, Attorney General Doug Gansler and the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development will hold a press conference to unveil a new program to help residents become homeowners. The $100 million dollar program is called the Maryland Mortgage Program Triple Play Initiative. The program is designed to help qualified families obtain up to $20 thousand dollars for the down payment of the home of their dreams.

President Obama goes prime time to unveil his Immigration reform plan

President Barack Obama is set to address the American public tonight at 8. He will announce an executive order to allow as many and 5 million undocumented immigrants to become U.S. citizens and permanent residents. It’s a move that has many Republican fuming and promising a political war on issues once the new Republican controlled Congress is sworn in in January.
