DC Mayor lays out the city’s snow emergency plan…

The snow is coming, how much is the question. No matter the amount the District says they are ready, in fact at 10:30 this am DC Mayor Muriel Bowser will hold a Press Conference to update residents on the city’s preparedness, including 14 new snow and salt trucks. 2,000 snow shovels will also be given out afterwards at the Reeves Center.

Police continue search for dump truck involved in deadly hit and run of a mother of two…

A mother of two is dead following a hit and run on Route 4 yesterday and police are asking the public to help them find the green or blue dump truck with red lettering and driver involved. Investigators say the driver may not even know they hit someone because of the size of the vehicle. 37 year old Ghada Ahmed was headed home to pick up her two small children and take them to school when the crash happened.

4 of 6 Police Officers charged in Freddie Gray case due back in court today…

Four of the 6 Police Officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray are due to appear for a motion hearing today. The reason, three want the courts to force William Porter to testify in their trials and one does not.
