Suspect who shot a kid in DC remains on the loose…

There’s a call for crime camera’s in one S.E. neighborhood. It follows the broad daylight shooting of a 7 year old boy on Saturday along Bruce Place. The gunman
remains on the loose. Off duty DC EMT Veronica Baskerville is credited with saving
his life.

School leaders in Prince George’s County offer free immunization clinics for students now…

Prince George’s County school leaders are trying to get kids and parents ready for the fall semester. today from 4 to 7 there will be a free immunization clinic at Oxon Hill H.S.. All students in every grade have to be vaccinated by the start of fall classes –thousands of kids miss valuable class time every year because of not having update shot records by the start of classes.

Edward Nero trial resumes in Baltimore today…

A Baltimore judge in the Edward Nero case will hear more testimony today. Nero is on trail in connection with the death of Freddie gray last year. Lawyer Warren
Alperstein says the U.S. Supreme Court makes it clear that officers can handcuff and use force if a suspect flees in a high crime area. Nero’s trail by judge is expected to end this week.
