The search for Charnice Milton’s killer continues…

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of a local journalist that was shot and killed as she stepped off of a Metro bus in S.E.. DC Police Chief Lanier update the public on the ongoing investigation yesterday saying that Charnice Milton has not been forgotten & that they will find her killer, but they still need the public’s help.
At 7:40 the Milton family will hold a vigil at the site where she was shot & killed. At 9:30 tonight police will return to the community and hand out flyers in the hopes of getting additional information to possibly close this case.

Prince George’s in home day care provider charged with killing an infant in her care…

In Upper Marlboro, a in home daycare provider has been charged with killing an infant left in her care. Beatrice Manning of Oxon Hill has been indicted in the death of 9 month on Savannah Wright last December. The medical examiner said the infant died due to blunt force trauma to the head.

The mad dash out of town for Memorial Day has begun…

The mad dash out of town has begun however if you still here with plans to head out Triple A Mid Atlantic warns the best time to hit the road is before 11 this morning or after 8 tonight. The worst time will be between 2 and 6 this afternoon. An estimated 700,000 residents locally plan to drive to their Memorial Day destination. It’s the highest in almost 10 years.
