Prince George’s County Police search for a rapist on the loose…

Prince George’s County Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for the April 29th rape of a 19 year old girl attacked as she walked along Lake Arbor Way in Mitchellville, Maryland. You can see the sketch on my face book, instagram or twitter accounts @taylorthomas963.

A local teacher is arrested for sexually abusing a 9 year old in school …

A teacher at William Paca Elementary School in Laurel has been charged with sexually abusing a student. Prince George’s County spokeswoman Julie Parker says 39 year old Erwin Magnaye was taken into custody on Tuesday. The 9 year old boy claims on several occasions while alone in the classroom the teacher touched and kissed him on the lips.

DC Mayor holds a youth engagement event today…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is hosting a youth town hall style meeting today at 4 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr Public Library in NW. The purpose is to hear from young people about their hopes, dreams, fears and idea’s for the city. Residents between the ages of 14 and 24 can also tweet them at #IWISHUKNEW.  WHUR will be covering this afternoon youth engagement discussion.
