Gunman in Wednesday Fredrick H.S. shooting remain on the loose

The search for as many as four suspects wanted in connection to last nights shooting at Frederick High School continues this hour. School Officials chose to cancel classes today at Frederick High School and at West Frederick Middle School. Two males teens shot outside of the school during the JV basketball game suffered non life threatening injuries.

The Dalai Lama’s visit to DC sparks protests

Right now, demonstrators are protesting today’s visit by the Dalai Lama. They are gathered outside of the Washington Hilton, were The National Prayer Breakfast is taking place. President Obama is in attendance and expected to speak about religious freedom.

DC City Council discusses is the city prepared for another metro rail emergency

The DC City Council is meeting today to discus whether or not the city is prepared for an emergency on the District subway system. Metro Interim General Manager Jack Requa is due to testify on the transit agencies preparedness. Today’s discussion follows last months fatal smoke death on a yellow line train at L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station.

For a time, Taylor even spoke with a British accent. Well now she resides in the DC area and for the past three years has worked as the news anchor for The Steve Harvey Morning Show on WHUR.
