Tony Medina remembers Amiri Baraka

Tony Medina treats us to his memories of Amiri Baraka on the next edition of SpokMedina & Barakaen Word. We discuss Amiri’s evolution as and activist and poet/playwrite. As well as sharing some of the poetry Mr. Baraka left us for eternity. This world and Black America are better off because Amiri walked here and taught us if we didn’t know how to stand up.

I am sure this will be only one of many tributes to the memory of Amiri Baraka
