Key Election Races Still Not Decided

Some key results from the midterm elections have still not been determined. Florida has three statewide contests undergoing an automatic recount after the unofficial deadline for counties to report results passed on Saturday at noon. In Arizona, there are still over 160-thousand ballots that need to be counted in the senate race between Democrat Kyrsten Sinema and Republican Martha McSally. Georgia’s candidate for Governor Stacey Abrams is filing suit to have the certification of Georgia’s governor election extended to Wednesday, seeking to have any improperly rejected absentee or provisional ballots counted.

Police say there were multiple suspects and one victim. Two coaches have been disciplined for the incident. The victim did not want to pursue the case and no charges were filed. It’s not immediately clear what may have happened and whether the incident amounted to an assault or a sexual assault.
