Phyllis Hyman born in Philadelphia, PA, who possessed a smooth and silky voice,  started her career as a Jazz singer and then transitioned to R&B ballads.  Phyllis Hyman 2

Phyllis worked with the likes of Norman Connors, Jon Lucien, Pharaoh Sanders and the Fatback Band just to name a few.  Some of her memorable hits include, “Somewhere in My Lifetime”, “You Know How To Love Me”, “Living All Alone” and “Betcha by Golly Wow”.  So I invite you to tune in and check out some of your favorite songs from  Phyllis Hyman.
