The search is on for another missing teen in Maryland

Investigators in Takoma Park, Maryland are looking for 18 year old Aesha Richardson who was last seen on October 13th near her home on Hudson Avenue. She was wearing a white jean jacket and black pants.

MD’s Republican Governor elect holds a news conference

Maryland Governor Elect Republican Larry Hogan held an early morning news conference to discuss his creation of a transition team.  Hogan who is a political newcomer shocked the analyst everywhere with his strong win over Maryland Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown last night.  Hogan vowed to work across party lines and he admitted that he has already talked to state leaders on both sides.

The District of Columbia has a new leader

Later today newly elected DC Mayor Muriel Bowser will hold a news conference today to unveil some of her plans for the city.  Bowser who gained more votes than all of her challengers combined, becomes the first female Mayor of the District of Columbia in two decades.

Virginia’s Senate race is still up in the air

Fairfax County leaders are recounting the votes in the hotly contested race.  Despite the fact that the State Board of Election has not certified all the votes in the U.S. Senate race in Virginia, Democratic Incumbent Mark Warner is claiming victory over challenger Ed Gillespie.  The two candidate are about 12-thousand votes apart with Warner leading the count.
