Police investigate fatal train and truck accident in Beltsville…

Police in Prince George’s County remain at the scene of where a pickup truck was hit by a CSX cargo train. According to early reports, the driver of the truck left the road and started driving on the tracks. The vehicle was then hit by the train. The male driver was pronounced dead on arrival.

FBI agents are helping Charles County Police in the probe into the teacher’s aid charged with sexually assaulting 10 middle school male students. 30-year-old Carlos Bell is also HIV positive. Two of the children tested have come up negative. Investigators believe there could be more victims.

Two local U.S. Capitol Police honored for saving lives…

At 10 this morning two local hero’s will be honored for their service to protect. U.S. Capitol Police Crystal Griner and David Bailey will be given the Capitol Police Law Enforcement Commendation Medal. Today’s celebration will be held at Congressional Cemetery.
