Purple is the 2014 Color of the Year

Pantone (the world-renowned authority on color) has declared radiant Orchid as the 2014 color of the year.

The beautiful thing about this purple shade is that it looks gorgeous on brown skin. The versatile color ranges in shades of fuchsia and purple with pink undertones.

Insiders are saying that the rise in popularity is because it’s a favorite of FLOTUS Michelle Obama.
