Sneak Peek of ANNIE Remake with Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis is not your mother’s Annie on Broadway.  This is a modern updated version with Jamie Foxx as the new Daddy Warbucks, who now goes by “Benjamin Stacks.”

The adorable Quvenzhané Wallis is of course Annie, and Cameron Diaz is Miss Hannigan, the owner of the orphanage. There’s singing, dancing, and of course Sandy, Annie’s trusty dog sidekick.

The film is produced by Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment company. It was a big risk to cast African Americans as the two well known leads, according to a few Hollywood insiders.

But, what do they know? Maybe it’s time for Hollywood to see that Black actors in the leading roles doesn’t mean it’s a Black movie only for Black audiences.

Can’t wait to see it? You’re going to have too. It’s not being released until December 19th. But, here’s the sneak peak of the trailer.
