Still no idea on woman struck by a vehicle in N.E….

There’s still no word on the woman struck by this morning while trying to cross New York Avenue in N.E. Early reports indicate she was critically injured. The driver stayed on the scene. There’s no word of the cause of the accident.

The search for an armed rapist continues in Northern Virginia…

Detectives in Alexandria, Virginia are again canvassing the community were a life guard was abducted and raped at gunpoint. It happened in the middle of the day on Saturday at the Towns of Hillwood Condominium community pool on South Picket Street. The 24 year old victim says the suspect forced her into a community room and raped her. Police are looking for possible witnesses and they are reviewing area surveillance camera’s for an image of the person responsible.

Obama is in China for his final G20 Summit…

President Barack Obama is attending his last G20 Summit in China. The President is urging Russia’s President Vladmir Putin to continue talks with Syria for a cease fire. The two world leaders met for about 2 hour today. The President Obama said they did agree to get humanitarian aid into Syria and to reduce the violence.
