The New Movie “Drop” Encourages Kids To Stay In School

Keeping youth engaged in school and reducing the drop out rate.  That’s the aim of a new documentary being released this week in the District by Black Women for Positive Change.  It’s called Drop and joining me this morning to give us perspective on the film is actor and activist Tray Chaney.

A Story of Triumph, “Drop” was produced to discourage youth from dropping out of school.  Studies show that more than 60 percent of Black and Latino men in prison dropped out of high school. More information here:
