Weekend Haps Update

 

• Tonight Big Daddy Kane and Rakim will be at the Legendary Howard Theatre for a great night of old School Hip Hop. Show time is at 8pm.

• Tomorrow Kenny Lattimore will be at the Birchmere for at great night of R&B. The show starts at 7:30.

• Also on Friday Common and KRS-ONE will be in concert at Echostage starting at 9pm.

• This Saturday the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan will convene the 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March rally, under the theme: “Justice or Else”. The rally will start at 10am on the National Mall at the West Steps of the U. S Capital.

• On Saturday and Sunday The Whispers will be in concert at the Birchmere, both shows start at 7:30pm.

• The Washington DC Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. presents: A Red Note Evening with Chrisette Michele, with a featured performance by violinist Chelsey Green. That’s Saturday at 7pm. at the George Washington University Lisner Auditorium. Ticket information at www.wdcac.org

• Sunday the Isley Brothers will be in concert at the Event Center at Hollywood Casino at Charlestown Races for a great night of Soul that only the Isley Brothers can deliver.
