Actress Victoria Rowell Goes Behind the Camera at #CBC2017

WHUR’s Taylor Thomas caught up with Actress Victoria Rowell at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center Thursday, September 21st as she attended in the 47th Annual Legislative Conference of Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.  Rowell was headed to speak on a panel discussion entitled “Minorities Redefining Themselves:  In Front & Behind the Camera.”  Rowell also too back in the CBC Book Pavilion Book Signing.

Taylor talked to Rowell about her latest project called “The Rich and the Ruthless,” in which she is wearing multiple hats as the creator, director, executive producer and writer.

Growing up in a military family, Taylor Thomas lived overseas until she was 16 years old. She called places such as Great Britain and the Philippines home. For a time, Taylor even spoke with a British accent. Well now she resides in the DC area and for the past three years has worked as the news anchor for The Steve Harvey Morning Show on WHUR. Recently, Taylor has adopted the Washington Redskins as her most loved pro sports team.
