Barbershop Talk With Taylor Thomas At The New HU Barbershop

Barbershop and sports go hand in hand and today Taylor Thomas is doing some barbershop talk at a brand new facility right here on the campus of Howard University. We are in Drew Hall where the first-ever HU barbershop is now open for business giving some 520 students from Drew and Cook Halls access to receive free haircuts and grooming from a licensed barber. Plus students, faculty and staff members interested in learning the “art of barbering” can also participate in a mentorship program, which will offer guidance and insight to aspiring entrepreneurs.

The big talk today in the HU Barbershop is all about Howard’s football team. They are gearing up for another big game coming up this Saturday in Ohio taking on Kent State University. Of course, the Howard Bison stunned the sports world last Saturday defeating the University of Nevada Las Vegas 43-40.
