Traci LaTrelle

Traci LaTrelle, got her start in Radio during her freshman year at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. LaTrelle’s 20+ year career in radio spans many markets including Greensboro and Raleigh, North Carolina; Norfolk, Virginia; New Orleans, Louisiana, a short stint at Arista Records in D.C. to name a few. LaTrelle also spent five years in Miami, Florida, where she held down two positions as Music Director and the top-rated Mid-day Personality at Hot 105 WHQT. After leaving Miami, Traci LaTrelle became a pioneer in the Satellite Radio industry, where she was hand-picked to become the first Director in the Country to program a "Neo-Soul" Radio Station on XM Satellite Radio, called "The Flow" on XM Channel 61. Three years later, she landed another dream job at WHUR in Washington, D.C., where she is Music Director and occasionally gets behind the microphone on a fill in basis.
