Arrests In Killing Of Baltimore County Officer, Trump: Kim Summit May Not Happen On June 12th

All Four Suspects In Officer’s Killing In Custody

Perry Hall, MD – All four suspects being sought for the killing of a Baltimore County cop are now in custody. Sixteen-year-old Dawnta Harris was arrested yesterday and charged with first-degree murder in the death of Officer Amy Caprio. Authorities announced this morning that three other teenage boys were also rounded up. Charging documents show that Harris admitted to driving a Jeep at the officer yesterday afternoon while the others burglarized a home. Video from Caprio’s body cam shows her firing one shot at the Jeep before she was run down. Harris is due to appear for a bail review hearing this afternoon.

Police Search For Suspects In Burtonsville Murder

Burtonsville, MD – Montgomery County police are searching for suspects in a Burtonsville murder. Officers responded to shots fired around 11:00 last night and found a man inside a vehicle on Ballinger Drive and Autumn Glen Circle suffering from trauma to his upper body. EMTs tried to save the unidentified man’s life, but he died at the scene.

Two Killed, Two Hurt In Fairfax House Fire

Fairfax, VA – Investigators are working to determine the cause of a deadly house fire in Fairfax. Fire crews found one person dead inside the home on Popes Head Road and another died after being rushed to a hospital. Two other victims were hurt, including one person who’s battling life-threatening injuries.

 

Trump: Kim Summit May Not Happen On June 12th

Washington, DC – President Trump says his planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may not happen next month. In a White House meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in today, Trump said the June 12th summit could be postponed to a later date. The situation has gotten complicated after North Korea threatened to pull out of the summit last week. The North is angry about joint military exercises between the U.S. and South Korea and unhappy about Trump’s insistence on denuclearization. Trump argued that Kim would be “extremely happy” if he agrees to a deal with the U.S.
