Funeral services will be held today at 9 at the House of Prayer in S.E. for 10-year-old Makiyah Wilson. She was shot along with five others earlier this month on 53rd Street in NE. The four masked gunmen remain on the run.

Friendship Height’s Metro stabbing death maybe a self-defense case…

DC Police are looking into Tuesday mornings stabbing of a man by a manager at the Friendship Height’s Metro station as a possible self-defense case. That because the manager claims 28-year-old Jeremy Bond walked into her booth and hit her after learning of delayed train service. The manager stabbed Bond and he later died at the hospital.

Fairfax County teacher charged with soliciting a minor…

Right now a Fairfax County School teacher is behind bars. Fifty-year-old Norman Achin is charged with soliciting sex with a minor online –so he thought. It turned out to be an undercover cop posing as a teen. Achin has been suspended without pay. He was a teacher at Westfield High School and West Springfield High School.
