A Gov’t Shutdown Looms, Metro’s Union Holds a News Conference…

Today’s the deadline to avert a Gov’t shutdown…

Congress is expected to vote today on a bill to avoid a government shutdown tonight
at midnight, that’s when the government runs out of money. Officials say they will
sign off on legislation that will give lawmakers in the House and Senate 7 more days to work out a permanent bill to fund the Federal Government until September 30th.

Metro’s Union prepares for a news conference today…

It does not appear that a “sick out” took place this morning on Metro. Later this morning Metro’s Union is planning to hold a press conference and rally.  Members
are reportedly upset over benefit cuts, the lack of raises and a new sick leave policy.

President Trump admits being President is more work than he thought…

As President Donald Trump approaches his 100th day in office on Saturday, comes another
interview and revelation. Thursday, Trump spoke with Reuters and he commented that a “major, major conflict” could take place between North Korea and the U.S. Trump insisted that he wants things to stay diplomatic but he is not sure if that will be possible. During the same interview, he also admitted that he thought being President would be easier than running his companies. He said he misses his previous life.
