The search for a missing boy from S.E. DC continues this morning. 9-year-old Tourik Golder-Wimbish was last seen on Friday afternoon with his older sister along Fort Davis Street. You can see an image of him on whur.com.

More City Leaders calling for DC Schools Chancellor to step down amid lottery scandal…

Now 5 DC City Leaders are demanding that DC Schools Chancellor Antwan Wilson resign following confirmation that he violated his own school lottery policy in transferring his daughter to higher performing school. Wilson who has apologized says he thought he was in compliance and that his daughter’s health was his motivation. He is planning a virtual town hall meeting on the issue sometime next week.

Md lawmakers submit the “Ashanti Alert” bill…

The parents of murdered 19-year-old Ashanti Bill have helped to create a bill that would alert the public to missing, endangered adults. It’s called the “Ashanti Alert”. Congressman Scott Taylor introduced the bill. This system is similar to the Amber alert but just for people 18 to 65 years old.
