DC Police are looking into the shooting death of an adult male found in the 1400 block of Harvard Street last night. The victim has not been identified and his killer remains on the loose.

The woman seen on surveillance video throwing a cup of urine on a Metro bus driver has her first court appearance today. 35-year-old Opal Brown faces simple assault charges. Brown who turned herself into police Wednesday said she did it because the driver was rude and that she hates Metro.

A chemical plant in Crosby, Texas is reporting two explosions that have caused black smoke to billow out. 10 police officers overcome by the smoke have been taken to the hospital. Now Tropical Depression Harvey has claimed 31 lives. That number is expected to rise and the water recedes and searchers find bodies. Later today Vice President Mike Pence will visit the region.
