West bound Eastern Avenue is closed to traffic this hour at Kenilworth Avenue. It follows a man who was shot on I-295. The victim who was hit in the leg was able to drive to the 4200 block of East Capitol Street.

The “Washington Post” is reporting that a civil lawsuit has been filed in the sexual abuse case of former volunteer teachers aide Deonte Carraway. The suit claims numerous students and staff complained about Carraway’s behavior and nothing was done. Carraway is currently serving 100 years in prison on Federal Child pornography

Stafford County Electoral leaders say no to counting 55 absentee

In Virginia, the Stafford County Electoral has decided that they will not count 55 absentee ballots that were picked up from the post office a day after the election. The decision means Republicans will remain control of the House of Delegates. Democrats are threatening to take legal action.
