Trump Calls NYT Mueller Report “Fake News”

President Trump is calling the report that he called to have Special Counsel Robert Mueller fired fake news. The “New York Times” reported Thursday that Trump wanted Mueller fired, but backed down after his White House counsel threatened to resign rather than follow the order. Mueller is conducting an investigation into Russian interference during the 2016 election. Trump was asked about the Mueller report at the World Economic Forum this morning and dismissed it telling reporters it was fake news and adding “Typical New York Times fake stories.”
