DC Police work four separate shootings all in S.E….

DC Police are working four separate shooting cases. They all happened over the weekend and in S.E. Two people died, on Good Hope Road and one on Raynolds Place. The other two shootings happened on Pennsylvania Avenue and Alabama Avenue. No arrests have been made.

Mayor Bowser prepares for a special affordable housing groundbreaking…

220 more affordable housing is coming to the District. Later this morning DC Mayor Muriel Bowser and other city leaders will take part in a renovation groundbreaking ceremony for new affordable housing. Today’s event will be held at Parkway Overlook Apartments in S.E. The complex will house 220 apartments for families as well as a workforce training center for residents.

Organizer’s of the “March For Our Lives” announce a new target…

One of the organizers of the “March for Our Lives” Cameron Kasky says they see the power in their united voice. Kasky is a survivor of the Valentine’s Day school shootings in Parkland, Florida. The focus now says organizers is the November election and get young people registered and at the polls to vote out those who do not want changes to gun laws.
