An internal investigation is ongoing in the police-involved shooting death of a bipolar African American man in New York City. Police say they were responding to a 911 call yesterday of a man with a gun. They found 34-year-old Saheed Vassell aiming something at them and they opened fire. He was shot by four officers 10 times, killing Vassel. He was actually holding a pipe.
