There is an increased police presence at CMIT South School in Upper Marlboro. It follows a message of violence today written on a boy’s bathroom wall. Some parents have opted not to allow their children to attend classes today.

Former Charles County volunteer school teacher’s aide Carlos Bell has now received his punishment for sexually abusing more than 40 young boys. A federal judge handed down a 105 year sentence. Bell, who is HIV positive,worked at Benjamin Stoddard Middle School where many of his victims attended. Bell is already serving time on state charges.

An autopsy report shows that the Great Mills High School shooter Austin Rollins took his own life. According to reports, he shot himself at the same time that the resource officer fired at him. The 16-year-old girl Jaelynn Willey who was killed by the gunman will be laid to rest on Friday.
