DC teen fights for his life after being shot in S.E. overnight…

A teen is fighting for his life this hour after being shot just after midnight last night at 28th Street and Naylor Road in S.E. The victim has not been identified and no arrests have been made.

The white woman who pretended to be African American as she lead the Spokane, Washington Chapter of the NAACP, Rachel Dolezal has broken her silence. This morning on NBC’s “Today” show she said that she identifies herself as black. Dolezal resigned yesterday amid all of the controversy around her true ethnicity.

A budget battle over taxes for schools is brewing in Prince George’s County ….

A decision by the Prince George’s County Council to override a veto by County Executive Rushern Baker regarding how much property taxes should increase for schools could lead to a court battle. The Council wants a 4% property tax increase and County Executive Baker now wants a 11.45% increase. If leaders override his veto, this matter may have to go before a judge.
