OPM shutdown is security clearance system, it could affect millions trying to get a Government job…

The Office of Personnel Management has decided to shutdown the security clearance system that they use to hire workers. Sources say it could be off line for the next four to six weeks as they work to correct a flaw recently discovered within the system. OPM says the move is proactive and it is not in response to a cyber attack.

Captured prison escapee David Sweat is talking, alot…

Captured New York prisoner David Sweat is speaking to investigators. Agents say David Sweat and Richard Matt had planned to travel to Mexico with prison seamstress Joyce Mitchell. They also planned to kill her husband before heading to Mexico. Sweat said they had a transistor radio to listen to the news and that no one else was involved in their escape. Sweat who remains in the hospital has been upgraded to serious condition.

Another Republican announces he running for President…

Later today New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will announce he will run for President in 2016. Governor Christie’s announcement will be made in his home town of Livingston, New Jersey at his old high School. Christie will become the 14 Republican to enter the race for the White House.
