Ground stop on all United Airlines fair have been lifted…

United Airlines nationwide groundstop has been lifted. The decision was made earlier this morning because of a computer glitch. If you have travel plans today on United Airlines at any of the area’s airports you are advised to call ahead and expect delays.

A federal judge uphold trademark cancellation of the “Redskins” name …

A big blow has been given to Washington’s NFL team owner Daniel Synder. Earlier this morning a federal judge ruled in favor of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office decision to cancel the teams trademark “Washington Redskins” name. The team can still use the name but it will not be protected. The team can appeal.

Silver Spring family of four found safe…

Montgomery County Authorities have located the family of four who’s Silver Spring home went up in flames this morning. They are safe. There home on White Drive was destroyed. The cause is still under investigation.

DC Police still searching for for gunman at Columbia Height playground..

DC Police are still looking for the person who ran through the Columbia Heights playground yesterday firing a gun. It happened around 11:30 yesterday morning as lots of little kids were playing. Surprisingly, no one was injured.

Two gunman involved in Quadruple shooting near U of MD in Baltimore remain on the loose..

The search for the two gunmen involved in a Quadruple shooting near the University of Maryland Baltimore campus continues. Three people were killed, two men and a woman. The fourth victim who was shot in the back remains in the hospital. Investigators are hoping the public can help them solve this case. It’s unclear if the victims are students.
