A grand jury will look into the bizarre death of Sandra Bland in a Texas jail cell…

A grand jury will take up the case of Sandra Bland. She’s the African American woman arrested after kicking a Texas State Trooper during a traffic stop and who ended up hanging in her cell three days later. The jail has released video surveillance in the hallway of her cell. The family is also awaiting a private autopsy any day now on the cause of her death.

Montgomery County leaders prepare to vote on a bill to end “Predatory” towing…

Montgomery County leaders vote today on a bill to end so called “Predatory” towing. Leaders hope to also end the practice of spotters looking for violators and town trucks standing by to take those vehicles.

A DC prostitution sting nets 30 men …

The Metropolitan Police Departments crackdown on prostitution in the city has resulted in 30 men being arrested in just one week. All of the arrests were made in the downtown area. Council member Jack Evans has introduced a bill, “Honey I lost my car”, that would allow police to impound vehicles of people caught soliciting prostitutes.
