One killed in Damascus home shooting…

There’s still now word on the person killed last night in a home in Damascus. The shooting happened during a holiday party. Investigators say the victim and the alleged shooter, who is believed to be the homeowner knew each other.

DC Police release a second video involving the death of a Special Ed Teacher…

District Police have released a second video related to the death of a DC Special Education Teacher who died after being detained by two apartment guards in S.E.. On the tape, you can hear a Metro Police Officer appear to be talking to superior relaying when they found Alonzo Smith unconscious. DC Police arrived at the scene after the apartment complex security guards had detained and handcuffed him. Smith’s death was ruled a homicide by the City’s Medical Examiner. He died of cardiac arrest complicated by a “compression of the torso”. There is an ongoing investigation into the security guards, if their actions let to Smith’s death.

Police in Las Vegas plan to charge a woman for intentionally driving on the side walk and killing a person…

In Las Vegas as woman is in police custody after intentionally driving up on a side walk on the busy Las Vegas strip hitting and killing one and seriously injuring dozens more. Witnesses said she drove up on the side walk three separate time before driving off and later being caught. A toddler in the vehicle was not harmed. She’s expected to be formally charged today.

Washington fans celebrate a back to back win….

Skins fans are all smiles this morning –this following yesterday’s back to back
win. The defeating the Bills at FedEx Field 35 to 25. Next the Eagles on the road next weekend.
