Four shootings in DC within hours of each other, one person was killed…

It was another violent night in the District. One person is dead following 4 separate shootings last night. The victim was found around 10 last night on Bladensburg Rd in N.E.. The shootings were reported just hours after a gun violence Summit at Martin Luther King Library by DC Delegate Eleanor Holmes-Norton and Police Chief Kathy Lanier. No arrests have been made.

DC daycare worker caught on tape ripping hair out of a toddlers head…

It’s unthinkable — a Daycare worker in S.E. is caught on tape ripping out a large patch of hair of a 1 year old in her care. It happened Tuesday at the Kids are Us Learning Center in S.E. Initially the parents of Demarco were told another kid did it but surveillance tapes proved otherwise. The worker has admitted that she did it because he irritated her.

New laws may be need in Md to prevent what happened at Judge Sylvania Woods Elementary…

Now that a grand jury has indicted Prince George’s County Volunteer teacher’s Aid Deonte Carraway on 270 child abuse and child porn charges — leaders are looking at making sure this never happens again. County State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks says there needs to be some new laws to protect kids. There are two separate investigations the states and a federal investigation. Alsobrooks is hoping to have him tried locally.
