District Height’s triple homicide suspect awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County…

DC police have arrested the suspect in last weeks triple homicide in a home in Districts Heights. Lawrence Rogers Jr is currently awaiting extradition back to Prince George’s County. Police do not have a motif in the case. Police credit the public’s help in capturing Rogers.

DC daycare worker charged with pulling out a toddler’s hair…

Charges have been filed against the day care worker seen on surveillance video ripping out a patch of hair of a 1 year old in her care. 50 year old Lisa Vaugh who worked at the Kids are Us Learning Center in S.E. is now facing a cruelty to children charge. She originally told the parents another child did it.

The 4th of July exodus is expected to start this afternoon…

It’s the big 4th of July weekend and police nationally and locally are urging resident & visitors to stay alert and if they see something say something. There will be no metro track work on Monday. Metro will offer rush hour service before and after the fireworks.
