Thousands without power following last night’s storms…

Clean up efforts begin this morning following the powerfully storms that ripped through our area last night. Some 4,000 Pepco customers in the District, Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties are without power. Some area’s even reported marble size hail along with heavy rain.

The RNC enters day #3…

Donald Trump is now officially the Republican Presidential Nominee, breaking tradition once again via video Trump thanked supporters last night at the RNC in Cleveland, Ohio. Mike Pence was confirmed as the party’s Vice Presidential nominee. Pence will speak today. The theme “Make America First Again”.

Hillary Clinton close to a VP pick…

Source say Hillary Clinton is close to announcing her choice for a running mate. Clinton is reportedly looking for a Vice Presidential candidate with National Security experience. Sources say Virginia. Senator Tim Kaine is one of two on her short list.

Surge 5 of Metro’s Safe Track plan is in effect…

Don’t forget Surge 5 of Metro’s Safe Track plan began this morning. For the next 12 days there will be no Orange or Silver line train service between Ballston and East Falls Church.
