DC Police called to 3 separate shootings and 1 stabbing, one fatality…

An adult male is dead following three separate shootings and one stabbing over night in the District. The male killed was found just after 3 this morning on V Street in S.E. He has not been identified. Detectives are looking for a white Volkswagen Jetta with DC tags that may be connected to the murder.

Prince George’s County hosts a teachers recruitment fair…

The Prince George’s County School System is holding a Spring Teacher Placement and Recruitment Fair this morning and next Friday. The fair is from 8am to Noon at Dr. Henry Wise H.S. in Upper Marlboro. You must register and have or be eligible for a teacher certificate. For more information call 301-780-2191.

Baltimore hosts the start of the National Urban League’s Annual Conference…

The National Urban League begins it’s annual conference today the the city of Baltimore. An estimated 10,000 attendee’s are expected. The focus will be on coming up with ways to deal with the disparities affecting urban communities throughout the U.S.
