DC Police Identify man shot in N.E. last night…

DC Police have identified the person found shot to death outside of
his basement apartment on 3rd Street in N.E. as 36 year old Timonthy
Bing. He was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the
scene.

The search continues in Md for who stabbed a man to death this morning in Suitland…

Detectives in Prince George’s County are still investigating the death
of an adult male found stabbed to death on Huron Avenues in
Suitland overnight. The victims name has not been released and the
killer remains on the loose.

Montgomery County leaders struggle with a tough decision to cut $50(M) from the budget…

A court ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court will drastically cut Montgomery Counties expected revenue this fiscal year, so much so that the County Executive Ike Leggett has come up with plan to close the $50 (m) budget shortfall. The proposal calls for cuts to schools, the police departments body cam program and the local government. The council now must review his suggestions before can changes are made.

District 7 Police hold a community meeting on synthetic drugs tonight in S.E…

DC Police have launched an initiative against people and business selling synthetic drugs. Tonight Police from District 7 will hold a community meeting on their efforts at Campbell AME Church in S.E. from 6:30 to 8:30.

Baltimore leaders set up a “War Room” to fight the spike in violent crimes…

42 unsolved homicides in May and 6 homicides this past weekend prompted Baltimore police and city leaders to set up a “War Room”. A place where local and federal law enforcement personnel can join together to stop the spike in deadly violence since the death of Freddie Gray. Baltimore State Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby says it is an all out war on crime in the city.
