Police release more details about the Louisiana movie theater shooter…

We are learning new details about last night’s mass shooting at a Movie theater in Louisiana. Lafeyette County Police Chief Jim Craft says a .40 caliber semi automatic hand gun was recovered from the scene and it may have been a copy cat of the Auroa Colorado movie theater shootings. The gunman has been identified as 59 year old John House from Alabama. Two people were killed and nine injured before he turned the gun on himself. The victims have been identified and 7 of the 9 movie goers hurt remain in the hospital.

Prosecutors in Texas say Sandra Bland committed suicide in her jail cell…

The family of Sandra Bland are preparing to lay her to rest tomorrow in Chicago. Texas authorities meanwhile, say the initial autopsy report shows she did commit suicide by hanging and there were no signs of defense wounds or of a struggle on her body.

A DC daycare worker is arrested for abusing 2 infants at a well known center…

A daycare worker at the Kiddie Academy on 25th Street in N.W. has been arrested for child abuse. 35 year old Claudi Roldan is charged with physically abusing a 3 and 7 month old.  Roldan has since been terminated.
