Three injured following two school bus colliding in Montgomery County…

Three people have been taken to the hospital following two schools busses in Montgomery County that collided this morning in Potomac. As many as 17 students on the busses were injured. None life threatening. The cause is unknown.

DC Mayor supports Chief Lanier, despite a “No” confidence police union vote…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has released a statement of support for Chief of Police Cathy Lanier. The statement follows the result from the DC Police Union confidence vote over the weekend. Of the 11,500 members that took part over 97% said they had “No” confidence in her ability to lead the department. The vote follows the weekend “All Hands on Deck” initiative where 8 people were shot, 2 fatally.

ESPN says Kirk Cousins will be named Washington’s new starting QB…

ESPN is reporting kirk cousins will be named as the starting QB for week 1 against the Dolphins. This comes a day after reports surfaces of the teams interest in a trade deal for RGIII.
