A decision will be made regarding possible criminal charges against Former DC Mayor Gray…

We will soon find out if criminal charges will be filed against former DC Mayor Vincent Gray. The acting Attorney General for the District Channing Phillips has released a statement that he will decide by next month what actions he plans to take involving the investigation into Gray’s mayoral shadow campaign. Gray has been under investigation now for 4 years and he has never been accused or charged of a crime.

Smith family asking for answers in the death of their loved detained by special police…

The family of 27 year old Alonso Smith found handcuffed and unconscious while in the custody of special police at a S.E. apartment complex want answers. DC Police are awaiting results from an autopsy. An attorney for the Smith family says he was beaten. The special officers are not connected to the DC Police Department.

Full service resumes Monday at Stadium-Armory…

There’s good for some Metro commuters. Starting on Monday regular service will resume at the Stadium-Armory Station. That means the Orange and Silver line trains will stop their during rush hour. The announcement comes a month after a substation fire knocked out power at the station.
