The “All Clear” is given at Andrews…

The “All clear” has been given at Joint Base Andrews. We are awaiting a press conference on from military officials. Sources say it was a miscommunications regarding a planned active shooting drill. We will have more on this story tonight on the Daily Drum.

Four shootings in DC, one person is killed…

Homicide detectives are still working last night’s fatal shooting in the 800 block of Bladensburg Road. Police were called to three other separate shootings around the city. Those victims are expected to survive. No arrests have been made.

Former Volunteer Teachers Aid indicted on child abuse and porn charges is due in court tomorrow…

Former Volunteer Teacher’s Aid Deonte Carraway is due back in court tomorrow. Yesterday grand jury indicted the 22 year old on 270 child abuse and porn charges. State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks says there are to separate investigations going on, one by the county and the other by Federal agents. Carraway faces 15 to 30 years in prison for each charge.
