500 Kenyan college students remain unaccounted for….

Kenyan Officials say more than 500 students at a Garissa University near the boarder of Somalia remain unaccounted for. Earlier this morning the school was attack by group of gunmen believed to be apart of the terrorist group Al-shabaab. 15 people are dead and dozens more are injured.

DC Mayor Bowser meets with the city council about her proposed 2016 budget…

Right now, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is discussing her 2016 budget proposal with members of the city council. Earlier this week during The State of the District Address she vowed to improve public safety, housing and education.

Dc police arrest a 21 year old woman in the stabbing death of an attorney ….

The 21 year old woman charged with the stabbing death of DC Attorney David Messerschmitt is due to appear in court today. Detectives say Jamyra Gallmon from Southeast went to the Donovan Hotel in February for a sexual encounter with the married attorney. He was later found stabbed to death in his room. Investigators used email correspondence between the two to find her.
