It’s Election Day …

The polls are open in Virginia and Maryland. They close in Virginia at 7 and 8 in Maryland. The race the country is watching closing is the Governor’s race in Virginia between Democrat Ralph Northam and Republican Ed Gillespie. The outcome could hint how the country could vote in the mid term elections. Residents must have their ID to cast a ballot or they will be given a provisional ballot. On the ballot Lt. Governor, Attorney General and all Delegate to the State House seats. In Maryland, it’s Mayorial races for College Park, Frederick, and Gaithersburg. There are also city council races in Laurel, Greenbelt, Takoma Park and Annapolis.

Military admits they made a big mistake with accused Texas Church shooter…

The military is admitting that they failed to enter accused Texas Church shooter Devin Kelley’s name to a national criminal database after he was convicted of domestic violence against his ex-wife and her infant baby in 2012. If he name was in the system he would not have been able to obtain the weapons he used legally.
