An early morning shooting in Southeast DC today has left one man dead. Police say the fatal shooting happened today inside a home in the 24-hundred block of Skyland Place. Police are searching for the suspect or suspects.

Unarmed Pittsburgh teen shot by police laid to rest

Funeral services were held today for Antwan Rose, the African American teen shot and killed last week by police in Pittsburgh. The 17-year-old was running from an officer following a traffic stop when he was shot in the back. The incident was captured on cell phone video. Rose was not carrying a weapon. The funeral was held at Rose’s high school in Pittsburgh.

Maxine Waters wants cabinet officials confronted

Congresswoman Maxine Waters says opponents of the Trump administration should confront Trump Cabinet officials in public spaces. Waters says those protest should happen at restaurants, department stores, gas stations, or anywhere Trump officials appear in public.
