Noontime deadline is looming for residents at Lynnhill Condominiums….

Some 100 people have just hours to pack up and get out. The Prince George’s County Fire Department declared the two building complex unsafe to live in after several safety code violations were discovered. Condo owners who say they have nowhere else to go are getting help. An attorney is hoping to get an injunction to give residents more time to find housing.

PARC test scores not good for students in Prince George’s County…

The most recent test scores from PARC. Only 28% of third graders in Prince George’s County score at or above grade level. The number dropped for math, only 27% of third graders met or exceeded math requirements. In Montgomery County
the number was 48% for reading and 54% for math.

Members of the CBC consider supporting impeachment talks…

The head of the Congressional Black Caucus plans to discuss with his members the whether or not to get behind a call to impeach President Trump. Louisiana Representative Cedric Richmond is also calling on members to cancel a planned meeting next month with White House officials and leaders of historically black colleges and universities.
