Over a hundred people hurt in train derailment in NY…

As many as 100 people were hurt this morning when a train derailed during rush hour in Brooklyn. Most injuries are described as minor. The investigation into this accident is ongoing.

DC leaders approve changes to the city’s GPS monitoring law…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has signed off on legislation that will allow law enforcement more power to punish individuals who tamper with or remove court issued GPS monitors. The changes to law follow the Christmas Day murder of a popular yoga instructor. The accused killer was ordered just days before the murder to appear in court to have a GPS monitor placed on him.
